Supersedence of Rights 

This warranty supersedes all other rights or remedies available to the purchaser under common law or otherwise.

Coverage Requirement 

Warranty coverage is contingent upon adherence to the maintenance and service schedule as specified in this policy. Failure to follow this schedule renders the warranty null and void. This warranty is only valid if the unit is installed by a Sirair technician or an installer recommended by Sirair. Warranty claims will only be honoured if these conditions are met.

Coverage Details 

This warranty covers factory defects only, and it is a part warranty. Any other incurred fees, including installation, labour, transport, commissioning, maintenance, or incidental costs, are not the responsibility of Sirair and shall be the responsibility of the client who used the recommended installer. Sirair will only be liable for repairs when the installation has been completed by a Sirair technician. In such cases, Sirair assumes responsibility for both parts and labour. 

Authorized Repairs 

Repairs covered under warranty must be performed by an installer recommended by Sirair or a Sirair technician. The installer is responsible for troubleshooting the unit, identifying the fault, and carrying out the repair. Sirair will not cover any costs associated with repairs conducted unless the fault is determined to be a factory defect and the unit was installed by a Sirair technician.

Return and Assessment 

Warranty claims require the faulty part to be returned to Sirair for assessment. Faulty compressors must be removed and returned to Sirair for evaluation by a specialist. A fee may apply if the customer requests the return of an assessed compressor. Unauthorized installation or alterations to the unit will void the warranty.

Non-Transferable 

This warranty is exclusively for the original purchaser and is non-transferable from the date of the invoice/purchase from Sirair. Any repairs made during the warranty period do not extend the duration of the warranty.

Exclusions 

Warranty claims for PC boards, remotes, motors, or compressors affected by load shedding cannot be honoured by Sirair.

Limitation of Liability 

Sirair shall not be liable for damages caused by transportation, floods, wildfires, lightning, accidents, or any other events beyond the company’s control.

PC Board Exclusion 

Due to the instability of the power supply in the region, Sirair will not provide any warranty for PCBs. Failures of PCBs caused by power surges or load shedding are excluded.

This warranty applies only when the installation is done by a Sirair technician or a recommended Sirair installer, and the maintenance schedule is followed. Any associated costs for repairs, except in cases of factory faults where the installation was completed by a Sirair technician, are the responsibility of the customer.
