Delivery Policy
We offer nationwide and cross-border delivery using our trusted couriers and reliable freight companies. Additionally, we provide delivery services ourselves in selected metro areas. Some products qualify for free delivery; please confirm with Sirair before placing your order. In many instances, your product will be delivered during installation, with the installer likely picking up your product free of charge from one of our branches.
Our estimated Shipping Terms range from 3 to 7 days, depending on the location within South Africa. Please note that this timeframe excludes weekends, public holidays, and the period between December 21st and January 2nd. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to accept delivery. Prior to signing the delivery docket, thoroughly inspect the goods for any damage. The signed delivery docket acknowledges receipt of the goods in good order, and this information should match the system delivered. If the delivery docket is signed as received “in Good Order or Condition,” the liability for damages passes to the consignee. Photo ID must be shown upon accepting goods.
If there is a clear indication of harm to your delivered equipment or any obvious evidence of damage, do not accept the delivery and refrain from signing the delivery docket. We are not liable for damages caused by second or third-party courier companies.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to a PO Box as we require ID and a copy of the online receipt upon delivery.
Yes, someone must be available to accept delivery, as we require a signature as proof of receipt. We recommend having an additional person at the delivery address to assist with placing items inside your house, as our carriers provide a door-to-door service.
Return Policy
1. Choose Carefully:
- Customers are strongly urged to meticulously evaluate and determine the suitability of systems before placing an order. In cases of uncertainty regarding the correct system size for individual requirements, we encourage customers to seek advice from our expert team.
2. Cancellations:
- Orders can be canceled at any point before the goods are dispatched. It is important to note that cancellations are subject to a 15% administration fee. Refunds will only be issued in instances where a replacement unit cannot be provided. Should a replacement be unattainable, refunds will generally be offered. The process for cancellations and refunds necessitates the return of the defective unit to us. If goods are deemed faulty, as confirmed by the manufacturer, replacements may be provided without charge. For additional clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service.
3. Returns Procedure:
- Should a product return be necessary, adherence to the following guidelines is imperative:
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, complete with all original straps, unused, and must include the user manual and all components.
- Returns are not permitted for products due to incorrect specifications by the purchaser or a failure to comprehend the functionality of the product.
- Comprehensive spec sheets are readily available online or through consultation with our store experts.
4. Second-Hand Products:
- Once a product has been used and its packaging opened, it is categorically deemed a second-hand product. Refunds for second-hand products may take up to 14 working days for processing.
5. Legal Framework:
- This Returns Policy is subject to and governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this policy shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of The Republic of South Africa.
