
Sirair Terms and Conditions of Sale, Delivery & Return Policies
1. INTRODUCTION
This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the sale, installation, servicing, and warranty of products supplied by Sirair CC. These conditions apply to both retail and reseller clients.2. WARRANTY OVERVIEW
- This warranty supersedes all other rights or remedies available under common law or otherwise.
- Coverage applies only to factory defects resulting from incorrect assembly, defective workmanship, or faulty materials.
- This is a parts-only warranty. Labour, installation, transport, or any incidental costs are excluded.

4. SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
Warranty remains valid only if units are serviced as per the schedule below:

Failure to service within these intervals will void the warranty.
5. INSTALLATION AND SERVICE CONDITIONS
- Only Sirair-approved and certified installers may install or service units.
- Unauthorized installations or alterations will void the warranty.
- Recommended installers are independent and not employees of Sirair.
6. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover the following:- Damage caused by: o Load shedding or power surges o Lightning, floods, fire, or accidents
- Failures of: o PC Boards (PCBs) o Motors, compressors, or remotes due to power instability o Wireless remotes and condensate pumps
- Cosmetic issues or aesthetic installation changes
- Incorrect unit sizing
7. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
- Faulty parts must be returned to Sirair for assessment.
- Compressors must be removed and sent for specialist evaluation.
- If a part is not defective, the client will be charged.
- A fee applies if the assessed part is requested to be returned.
8. CALL-OUT POLICY
- Changes requested post-installation.
- Site visit.
- Missed appointments where site access is not provided.
- Units located more than 40 km from Sirair’s Midrand office will be charged AA travel rates per kilometre over the 40kms.
- Call-outs are scheduled 3–5 working days after payment. A dealer or client must be on-site.
9. PAYMENT & INSTALLATION TERMS
- Full upfront payment is required before scheduling installation.
- Installation is scheduled within 4 working days of payment clearance.
- Installations exclude: o Patching, painting, or electrical work o Repositioning of units after installation.
- Units remain property of Sirair until paid in full.
10. SPARE PARTS POLICY
- No returns or refunds are accepted for spare parts.
- To order spare parts, provide: o Invoice of the original unit o Photo of the required part o Model number.
- Incorrectly ordered parts are the client’s responsibility.
11. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule regular servicing and retain records.
- Provide access for installations and call-outs.
- Arrange electrical connections with a certified isolator.
- Pick up all purchased goods within 7 days of payment.
- Ensure unit sizing is suitable for the intended space.
12. CANCELLATION AND BEHAVIOUR POLICY
- Sirair reserves the right to cancel or refuse service if the client: o Uses abusive or derogatory language o Threatens or harasses technical or support staff.
13. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Units are replaced only if a Sirair technician confirms a non-repairable factory defect within the warranty period.
- Prices and availability may change without prior notice.
- Scaffolding and additional labour charges apply.
14. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
- By purchasing Sirair products, the client confirms understanding and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
15. DELIVERY POLICY
We offer nationwide and cross-border delivery using our trusted couriers and reliable freight companies. Additionally, we provide delivery services ourselves in selected metro areas. Some products qualify for free delivery; please confirm with Sirair before placing your order. In many instances, your product will be delivered during installation, with the installer likely picking up your product free of charge from one of our branches. Our estimated Shipping Terms range from 3 to 7 working days, depending on the location within South Africa. Please note that this timeframe excludes weekends, public holidays, and the period between December 21st and January 2nd. For any delivery-related inquiries, please contact us via email or call us at 011 315 1246. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to accept delivery. Prior to signing the delivery docket, thoroughly inspect the goods for any damage. The signed delivery docket acknowledges receipt of the goods in good order, and this information should match the system delivered. If the delivery docket is signed as received “in Good Order or Condition,” the liability for damages passes to the consignee. Photo ID must be shown upon accepting goods. If there is a clear indication of harm to your delivered equipment or any obvious evidence of damage, do not accept the delivery and refrain from signing the delivery docket. We are not liable for damages caused by second or third-party courier companies. • We cannot deliver to PO Boxes. • A responsible adult must be present to inspect and sign for delivery.16. RETURN POLICY
Exchange Conditions
- Product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with labels, strapping and seals intact.
- All parts and accessories must be included.
- Delivery for buyers account. All goods must be returned to Midrand store only. No other stores will accept returns.
- Exchange request must be logged within 7 days of delivery or collection.
- No admin fee will apply for exchanges logged within 7 days.
- Sirair reserves the right to approve exchanges on a case-by-case basis.
- Products on special are non-returnable to avoid deal duplication.
Return Conditions
- Product must be unused, unopened, and in original condition with all labels, straps and accessories included.
- Returns must be logged within 7 days.
- Returns to our Midrand store only at buyers cost.
- Installation cancellations after technician dispatch will be charged at standard call-out rates.
- De-installations are the customer’s responsibility, or Sirair rates apply.
- No returns accepted on made-to-order items (e.g. Commercial AC units, Cold Rooms).
- No returns accepted for spares, including PC boards.
Preparing Products for Return
- De-install and securely package the item.
- Clearly label your return reference number on the parcel.
- Include all accessories and parts.
